C1 (11th, 12th & 13th October)
Host: Poland
During this mobility, two of the partner countries weren't able to travel so they followed the meetings and activities virtually. Here is a breif summary of the activities:
- Day 1: Poland organised a tour around the school where we met the staff. A group of students had prepared a small theatre. After this, the Czec Republic had some workshops to present to the rest of the partner countries. In these workshops, we were presented with a presentation of CLIL methodology (why it is important for language skills and its importance for developing language skills and vocabulary extension) and also on the functioning of eTwinning (how to use it, how to communicate through it, how to share information, pictures, videos, presentations and photos) so as to use this platform along the project. In the afternoon, we were taken on a tour to visit the city of Warsaw.
- Day 2: This day Poland had prepared a presentation on Oxford debates and how they are carried out (roles of participants, rules...) After the presentation, we got hands on and practised an example debate. This way we were able to experience the whole experience and then reflect on what our students would find easier/harder to do. Following this presentation we were explained what Destination Imagination is and the students who participated and won the finals had prepared a demonstration for us.
- Day 3: Finally, Poland organised a presentation on formative work. One of our objectives is to commonly improve the quality of our classes by a process of autoevaluation in which students and teachers take part.
